Matwork Pilates Foundation Course
There are no entry requirements and anyone with an interest
in Pilates can enrol on to this course. The Foundation Course is an excellent route
to finding out more about Pilates, and a great start if you then decide to
progress to the Matwork Diploma course. The Foundation Course includes the
beginner level Pilates exercises and the Level 2 Anatomy and Physiology
Unit which you will need if you want to do the Matwork Diploma.
Pilates Matwork Diploma Course
You will need to have Level 2 Anatomy and Physiology qualification
or equivalent to enrol on to the Pilates Matwork Diploma. If you do not have
this qualification, you can do a short home study course to bring your Anatomy
and Physiology knowledge up to the standard required by Level 2. This
is the simplest and easiest way to prepare yourself for the Pilates Matwork
Diploma. If you already have a Level 2 Anatomy and Physiology qualification,
please submit your certificate for verification. Certificates more than 3
years old will not be accepted.
Pre and Post Natal Exercise
You need to have the Level 3 Pilates Matwork Diploma.
Pilates Equipment Course
You need to have the Level 3 Pilates Matwork
Diploma to progress on to training on the large pieces of Pilates equipment
which include; Reformer, Cadillac, Combo Chair, and Ladder Barrel.
This is a continuous professional development course and is
therefore open to anyone interested in Reformer training.
